Services like accepting deposits and top-ups from the bank

Some websites say that money can be added to Paytm wallet and some websites say that we cannot.

However I think the confusion is with the bank that is linked to your Paytm wallet. If you're using an external bank like ICICI, HDFC, Kotak etc then you can add funds to the wallet
.
If you have a Paytm Bank account and linked the Paytm Payments Bank to the wallet, you cannot make any additions
.
FASTag, Paytm Wallet and NCMC card is provided by the PPB and any amounts cannot be transferred to these wallets 🫠

Paytm UPI, Soundbox can still be used and Paytm stocks/investments such as gold has been said to be safe by the Founder, Vijay Shekhar Sharma 🫡

Many Brokerage firms/Analysts like Jefferies, JP Morgan, JM Financial, Axis Capital, CLSA have downgraded the stock and reduced their Target price for the stock 🤯

I myself am not entirely clear about the restrictions put on Paytm by RBI with respect to whether wallets can be used or not if the bank is external or not, I have tried my best to research and get you the right information in such a vast amount of mixed information available on the internet 🙏

However, I was able to transfer Rs. 10 from my bank (external) to Paytm wallet 😅
