If you’re looking for a how to guide on getting all As, making law review, or landing a cushy summer job during your first year as a law student, this video isn’t for you. Other law school students who achieved those goals have already published content explaining how they did so. Instead, I’m making this video for incoming law students, colloquially known as 1Ls, who don’t know what to expect from their first year because the following advice seems more relatable coming from a current student, even if some of it is cliche. Here’s the good, the bad, and the not so pretty aspects of 1L plus how to survive it.
