They told her with concern that the next day is Ekadashi, mahaperiyava won't take any ' bikshai' and they will prepare ' neivedhyam ' for Chandhramouleeswarar using ' Kottai Aduppu' and switched off that. She said " why you all worry? I live close to this matam. So you all come to my house. Mahaperiyava is going to take rest and sleep. At that time you all can come to my house and eat. I will prepare 3-4 sweets, snacks, other tasty food items for you. Don't feel bad") These shishyas thought that they can immediately visit her house once periyava go to His room for taking rest. But periyava asked them all " what? You are all just waiting. don't you all go for taking your lunch?"(They didn't and couldn't reply) "ok .Ekadasi is only for myself. You prepare quickly now some simple dishes and serve the workers dealing with matam's horses, cows, Bull, elephant, bogis( those who lifts palanquin) Go that mami 's house , eat your special lunch that she had prepared for you" said Periyava.. how come Periyava knew that a mami had invited them for lunch ?
