Officials say multiple people were injured when a Mexican tall ship struck the Brooklyn Bridge. The navy ship was on a promotional tour in New York City when the top of its mast brushed the iconic span — which officials say was spared major damage — as it sailed through the East River.
UPDATE: Officials say two people have since died from their injuries.
