STORYLINE:
A huge crowd gathered on the Las Vegas Strip on New Year's Eve to watch a massive fireworks display marking the arrival of 2026.

The spectacle filled the night sky over the city with even more color as revellers celebrated the end of 2025 and the start of the new year.

From Sydney to Paris to New York City, crowds rang in the new year with exuberant celebrations filled with thunderous fireworks or light shows, while others took a more subdued approach.
