Dhaara Manch continues as a space where tradition is not only preserved, but lived. Rooted in reverence for the great masters of Indian classical music, the festival stands as a flowing tribute to legacy, discipline, and artistic sincerity.

This edition featured Paramananda Roy and Ishaan Ghosh, bringing together melody and rhythm in a deeply engaging musical dialogue.

Paramananda Roy, a dedicated Hindustani classical vocalist, follows the lineage of Pt. Pannalal Ghosh. His training reflects a tradition rooted in depth, tonal purity, and introspective raga development. With strong grounding in classical gayaki, his presentation carried clarity of swara, patient elaboration of alaap, and expressive taans that balanced technique with emotion. There was a quiet dignity in his unfolding of the raga — measured, immersive, and sincere.

On tabla, Ishaan Ghosh brought refined accompaniment and sensitive musicianship. He is the grandson of Pt. Nikhil Ghosh and grand-nephew of Pt. Pannalal Ghosh, carrying forward a remarkable musical heritage. True to that lineage, his playing reflected both scholarship and spontaneity — attentive theka, elegant layakari, and thoughtful responses that enhanced the vocalist without ever overpowering the stage.

Together, they created more than a performance — they created an atmosphere. A space where raga flowed with depth, rhythm breathed with restraint, and tradition felt alive in the present moment.
