Zeus MKII ES

Although originally designed in 2140, the Zeus was the first commercially available ship with a working quantum drive, pushing the boundaries of space exploration and sending humanity out into the stars and the furthest reaches of the galaxy.

The Zeus MkII was developed by Robert Space Industries while paying homage to the original although much of it is still very different, it still maintains various similar design accents. The MkII ES was built as a multi-crew spacecraft, specifically engineered for the purpose of exploration in deep space or closer to home. As part of the updated design it now features a robust radar system that enables location and identification of new discoveries.

The MkII ES has also been enhanced with sophisticated weaponry and protective shielding, ensuring the secure return of any members of the crew and protecting any new discoveries acquired whether it be information, computer data or physical artifacts.

The MkII ES comes equipped with two size 4 hard points for whatever weapon choice or setup you prefer, a remote turret with two size 3 laser repeaters, while also giving the pilot the option of unleashing a barrage of well hidden size 4 missiles assisting the crew to handle most unwanted encounters or situations.

Now, although the ES has been designed predominantly as an exploration vessel, it's also more than capable of undertaking various roles as a daily driver, mission runner or cargo vessel, transporting up to 32 SCU of cargo when you might require it for those other more............... mundane tasks.
