Xi Jinping Inspects Joint Battle Command Center

Описание: Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC) , on Wednesday inspected the CMC joint battle command center, calling for building a joint battle command system with Chinese characteristics.

Xi, also Chinese President, on Wednesday morning inspected the center, where he serves as the Commander in Chief, calling for implementing the military strategies under the new situations and focusing on the key functions of studying on fighting wars and commanding battles.

Xi, also asked officers to change their ideas, innovate and tackle difficulties, in a bid to build a joint battle command system that was absolutely loyal, resourceful in fighting, efficient in commanding and courageous and capable of winning wars.

The strategic and operational command system should be efficient and active in both peace and war, Xi added.

Xi emphasized that the center must focus on its core function of operation command and must bury in mind the ultimate target of building a stronger Chinese army.

He urged the army to implement a set military strategies and tactics that suit the new domestic and international situation.

Xi also underlined the need of creation and reform within the army so as to build a comprehensive, integrated and effective command system.

He added that there should be a breakthrough in the nurturing and development of talent at the center.
