Описание: Axel Gilain is a self-taught musician who is driven by his convictions and his enthusiasm. It was at first rock music, in its purest form, that made the musician vibrated. Thereafter he will, however, feel attracted by Jazz, Reggae and Gnawa music. For a year he lived in Essaouira, an experience that has influenced him both at personal and musical level, as you can hear it through the title "Mekhtoub" which is a successful mix of blues and Gnawa.

Axel Gilain, een ware autodidact die alle conventies met veel enthousiasme overboord gooit. Aanvankelijk ging zijn interesse naar de pure rockmuziek maar al snel werd zijn aandacht getrokken tot Jazz, Reggae en Gnawa muziek. Een jaar lang woonde hij in Essaouira, een ervaring die hem zowel persoonlijk als muzikaal enorm beïnvloed heeft. Ziehier de vertaling daarvan in het stuk "Mekhtoub": een rijke mix van Gnawa invloeden en nostalgische bluesnoten.

Axel Gilain est un autodidacte porté par sa convention et son enthousiasme.
C'est au départ la musique rock dans son état pur qui fait vibré le musicien. Par la suite son attention se posera, néanmoins, sur la musique Jazz, Reggae et la musique Gnawa. Pendant un an, il a vécu à Essaouira, une expérience qui l'a influence tant au niveau personnel et qu'au niveau musical comme le laisse entendre le titre "Mekhtoub": un mélange réussi de blues et de Gnawa.
