Big Explanation Below:

My main reason for uploading this is because Empress of Light is a hard boss in Daytime as any move that connects with the player in will one shot regardless of the World Mode (World Mode only increase her maximum health). Not many decent videos exist beating her on Classic as... nobody really plays Classic anymore, but this video will hopefully serve well for anybody on Classic who is looking for a good build and strategy with the 5 slots given and the lack of extra accessories that exist in other modes such as Expert and Master Mode. (Terraria 1.4.5.2)

I go over my gear in the video but here is what I ran for anybody trying to compare what they have, ideally have all of your accessories on Lucky but Menancing is ok too!

Godly Terra Blade (Best Modifier is Legendary)
Ruthless Xeno Staff (Used 2 Minions via a Bewitching Table)
Full Beetle Armor (Beetle Scale Mail )
Lucky Mechanical Glove
Menacing Fire Gauntlet
Arcane Fishron Wings
Warrior Emblem
Menacing Destroyer Emblem

I also popped a Pumpkin Pie before spawning her, try to utilize helpful buffs such as Summoning Potions, Rage Potions, Wrath Potions, or any food source that improves stats ideally those that have medium to major improvements.

My platform is a 1100 Block Long Asphalt Block Platform, I am using no accessories or potions for speed, I am just allowing my gear, platform (player speed is increased on Asphalt) and wings to maximize my speed.

If you have trouble finding Prismatic Lacewings, go to the Hallow between their spawn times of (7:30PM - 12:00AM), place a water candle, use a battle potion, and spawn a Blood Moon to maximize your monster spawn chances, a Lifeform Analyzer (or anything that displays rare creatures) will show when a Prismatic Lacewing will spawn which can then be caught in a bug net.

Empress' Attack Patterns can seem overwhelming, but, watching videos and fighting her to create your own strategy and getting down some muscle memory is super useful to avoid being caught off guard.
