Ever since Super Mario Bros. 3, it seemed to be pretty popular for the second World of several 2D Mario games to be a Desert World, especially in the New Super Mario Bros. games...
But this game did that, first. With the help of this game's unique mechanics, this World will make it a head to have you dig through a lot of sand in order get through each of its 3 levels.
2-1 and 2-2's bosses are both more Birdos, but 2-2's Birdo is red. This Red Birdo sometimes spits fireballs at you instead of eggs, so keep that in mind when you're trying to jump on and pick up her eggs.
2-3's boss is the three-headed snake called Tryclyde, who spits nothing but fireballs at you. Use the Mushroom Blocks in the area, or any enemies that help him out, in order to beat him and move on to World 3.
