1997 Subaru Sambar Dias Classic KV3 van, plus a 1996 Volkswagen 1Z (predates the AHU and ALH) TDI engine. Can I make this work? I really don't know yet. I am close to finishing the prep work needed before I can roll this into the engine bay of the Sambar. Fabricating an adaptor so I could "clock" the transmission has taken me a really long time, but I think I have that sorted out.
The next step is to do some validation testing to verify I have eliminated all the leaks in my custom oil distribution manifold. If that system is leak free, I am ready to remove the stock Kei engine (EN07C) and begin the mock up with the TDI power train. I'm either going to flame out publicly, or make this work.
