Описание: Floodwaters continue to disrupt life in Manipur as incessant rainfall triggers severe flooding and landslides. Imphal valley is among the worst-hit regions, with major roads submerged, affecting thousands of daily commuters.

Rescue and relief operations have been intensified by the Assam Rifles in coordination with the state government. An orange alert has been issued as Manipur braces for more than 20 cm of rainfall over the next 24 hours.

Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla visited flood-affected areas in Imphal today, assessing the damage and issuing urgent directives for evacuation and safety. SDRF and NDRF teams have been kept on high alert to assist in the rescue efforts.
