In today’s lesson, we will continue practising our English listening and speaking skills while reviewing the uses of the Present Simple, Be about to, Future Continuous and Future Perfect to talk about the future.
The purpose of today’s lesson is to help us talk about the future using several grammatical structures: the Present Simple, be about to, Future Continuous and Future Perfect. We can apply these structures in real-life situations and practise them daily to improve our English listening, speaking, and communication reflexes.
• The lesson still includes the following four parts:
🔹 Part 1: Listening Practice
In this part, we will watch the entire video and listen carefully to get a general understanding of the content. In addition, pay attention to the characters’ pronunciation so you can practice along.
🔹 Part 2: Shadowing Practice
In this part, you will role-play the characters in the video and speak out loud based on the dialogue, or try communicating with the character in your own style.
Shadowing practice helps you:
▪ Improve pronunciation and intonation.
▪ Improve your reaction skills and fluency in
English communication.
▪ Build confidence for real-life conversations.
🔹 Part 3: Vocabulary Review
You will learn the vocabulary used in the video, with explanations of meaning and example sentences, to help you remember and use the vocabulary correctly.
🔹 Part 4: Grammar Review
In the grammar section, we will talk about the future using several grammatical structures: the Present Simple, be about to, Future Continuous and Future Perfect. for the future. This section helps you understand the sentence structures and usage so you can apply them in real-life situations.
