This is a classic book for anybody that works with children of any age! It was recommended to me before I was a father and I can tell you that I did not read it enough! Even though this book is dated, the ideas about creating self-esteem by having a loving, nurturing, relaxed, and supportive home life for a child is age-old and as a four decade teacher, it creates the best chance for a child to reach their maximum potential! Don’t miss out on this book! Skip over the dated parts and please read carefully the sections about generating self-esteem in a young child!
