What we have is a Adenium Obesum Shada also known as Desert rose.
The Desert Rose originates from Eastern Africa to Southern Arabia and is loved by many for its bright flowers and unique swollen stem. The Chinese named this plant the “flower of wealth”, believing it brings good fortune and the swollen stem base represents fertility.
