The Art of Ice Cream was founded as a group project by passionat and experienced confectioners.
The idea of spreading joy and happiness by creating delicious ice cream and traditional Italian gleato by using high quality prodcuts in combination with a love for the old-school way of production is the main goal of this project.
The secret to perfect ice cream and gelato lies in the milk-base, which is traditionally a combination of whole milk (3,5% fat), heavy cream (30% fat), egg yolks and sugar, plus a (of course!) well kept secret ingredient. Which is then all mixed together, pasteurized and afterwards put to rest for a minimum of 24 hours. After that it can be used to create perfect creaminess and texture.
