Описание: Come along with us for Weekly Vlog #441, where I share what our family got up to during the week of 9th – 15th February in this real-life UK family vlog. 💜

This week included theatre trips, family days out and a Valentine’s lunch,

On Monday, I started the week as usual by editing the weekly vlog.

On Wednesday, we headed to HOME Manchester to review The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (gifted tickets). As a special treat we brought Alice with us, and she absolutely loved it — especially getting popcorn and ice cream during the interval. Leo spent the evening at his grandparents’ house as the show has an age guide of 8+.

The musical follows Percy Jackson, a teenager who discovers he is the son of Poseidon and is suddenly thrown into a world of Greek gods, monsters and quests. It’s a fun, high-energy adventure story with lots of humour and great music.

On Thursday, Lawrence and I went to the Trafford Centre for an early Valentine’s lunch since he was working on Saturday. We had a look around the new Haribo shop and Miniso before deciding on TGI Fridays for lunch — Lawrence had a burger and I had a steak, which was delicious.

Afterwards, Lawrence picked the kids up from school while I went to ASDA to buy a birthday card and present for my nephew.

On Saturday, the kids, my brother and I went to Z-arts Manchester to review Meet the Hatter (gifted tickets), which we all really enjoyed. The show is inspired by Alice in Wonderland and combines puppetry, music and storytelling to create a magical, interactive experience for children.

On Sunday, I went to my nephew’s 2nd birthday party, and we finished the day with dinner at Nando’s on the way home.
