Tesla Model X Seat Rebuild for larger driver to reduce pain.
Here in this video I give an overview of the custom seat bottom build I did for a 2023 Tesla Model X front driver's seat. The owner has an athletic build and is larger than the average person. He happens to be 6'5" but he's rather lean. It's the bone structure that presses into the seat. In the Tesla Model X, I believe from the refresh sometime in 2021- present, they have a metal wire set into the foam core when it was formed and hardened in manufacture. The seat with the metal wire and metal base is too narrow for the larger build, wider build, bigger skeletal bone structure. It really can hurt sitting in the Tesla seat. It becomes noticeable after about an hour. I have built many seats for Tesla owners all over the US, they have been mostly for Model 3 and Model Y. This video is about a Model X seat custom build.
