Doorly’s 12 Year Barbados Rum (Foursquare Distillery)

Описание: Coming to us from the Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, this Doorly’s brand is coming to us from master distiller Richard Seale. He’s long been an outspoken advocate for “authentic rums” that don’t have post-distillation additives like sugar. This Doorly’s 12 is no exception and at only $30, it won’t break the bank. To create it, the distillery uses a blend of pot and column still rum, aged for 12 full years. It’s a bit tricky to nail down the exact casks they’re using since they’ve used different finishing ones over the years (madeira and port), but it’s currently reported to contain 90% that was aged in ex-bourbon barrels, and 10% in Madeira casks. They then “rest” or “marry” the rums together for some time before being bottled at 40% abv.
