Hello hello mom and dad meet world-kinda viewers. Months ago we were in New York City, and on the way back from House of Joy, we saw Ho Wan Bake Shoppe. Located just east of Manhattan. The baked goods looked great, and we pointed and they grabbed it from the glass case. I thought I knew what I was getting until I bit into some of the goodies. Sesame ball with a mochi-style filling and a sweet red bean paste were familiar. However, a sweet onion-flavored pastry and a egg-filled pastry were pleasant surprises. Nothing was overly sweet. The pastries were perfectly cooked and balanced. I’d try them out again and probably try everything if we hadn’t just eaten dim sum from House of Joy. Check it out and thanks for watching!
