Some places claim to be historic, but Penicuik, that small town, nestled away in Midlothian, Scotland, Truly is a historic town
Like most towns which survived on the paper and cotton industry, it has sadly gone down hill a little, but the valiant efforts of its hardy locals to keep the place looking nice can not be ignored. Non more so, than the hardy locals who became the Penicuik House Preservation society.
