We’re back in Daytona Beach at the World Center of Racing — and this one is PACKED. From the NASCAR Duels to the Daytona 500 weekend atmosphere, I’m taking you behind the scenes like only a drag racer can.
We kick things off at the legendary Daytona 500 weekend inside Daytona International Speedway, talking with team owner Rick Ware about the No. 51 car racing in the Duels. Once the action fires off, I take you from the pit box to a live tire stop under the lights — night racing at Daytona, baby!
The next day, we spend time with former NASCAR team owner Tommy Baldwin and take a deep dive inside a modern Cup car to see what makes these machines tick.
You know it wouldn’t be Daytona without running into LS George — Daytona, brother! Plus, Kevin from KSR jumps in to film for me, which made for some fun moments.
We catch up with Derrick Cope, Daytona 500 champion, and learn how drag racing helped shape his early career. Then we talk with race car driver, Hollywood stuntman, and partner on the car Carson Ware is driving this weekend, Stanton Barrett.
And one of the highlights for me personally — spending time with Top Fuel legend Darrell Gwynn. Daytona always brings the people, and this place truly is where racing history and horsepower collide.
Oh yeah… and there’s a TON of racing happening while all this is going on.
