Hi, I'm Daniel with etrailer, and today we're gonna take a look at and I'm gonna try to install the Air Lift WirelessOne air compressor on our 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. Our neighbor today brought in his fifth-wheel trailer and he got airbags because when he first brought it in, he just had those factory jounce bumpers and they weren't doing really anything to level out his load. He actually was sagging about three inches, so having airbags is going to allow him to have a lot better of a ride. Now, he also got an onboard compressor, which I highly recommend because you're not gonna wanna maybe find a weigh station or have a pancake compressor back here just to fill your airbags up. When you're ready to go, you can just use this remote, and from inside your cab, fill 'em to the exact pressure you need. This is your wireless remote control, and you have two arrows that will plus or minus your PSI in your bags.

And then below that, you've got your preset buttons. So from the factory, the bottom one will be five and the top will be 25. Now, you wanna keep 'em at that five for your unloaded weight, but when you hook up your trailer, you can set it to what you need and then press and hold. And it's just as easy as that. You can press that button, those will fill, and you're ready to go.

And then you can just throw this away in your visor with that clip, and you're good. There's also an app that you can get on your phone that will allow you to also control your airbags. Now, what's nice about the app is you have multiple presets. So if you're towing around multiple trailers, maybe on the weekend, you're taking your fifth wheel out to the campsite, and on the weekdays, you got a utility trailer, you can set that and those PSIs will be saved in there. Now, what's also nice about the app is it'll tell you error codes.

So maybe a fuse is blown or there's something wrong with your manifold, you'll know right away. This is what your compressor and manifold is gonna look like installed on the frame of your truck. A lot of our other kits, the manifold is integrated with this, so you will have to drill extra holes for that. Now, we do offer a bracket where you can just clamp it around your frame, and that's a lot easier if you're doing this yourself. Now, this is rated for five to 100 PSI, which is great because we're pairing this with some standard-duty airbags.

But if you have some heavy-duty airbags like the RED Label Firestone, then you may wanna check out some other options we have for compressors that go up to 150 PSI. Your compressor has a line traveling all the way to your manifold, and this is gonna be the brains of the operation. It's gonna communicate with your wireless remote and send the correct amount of PSI to your bags. Now, when connecting your remote, can be a little finicky when you're first starting to connect it. So what you have to do is, we found if you have a second person stand here, right with the remote next to the manifold, and then someone else throws the fuse in and turns the truck on, that can help a lot. Now, if it doesn't pair immediately, then you can just start that process over, pull the fuse back out, and then try again. Since this is a standard-duty compressor, it will take a bit of time if you're planning on filling those bags all the way to that 100 PSI. So if you are, I would recommend just maybe setting them to 40, then 60, and then finally 100, and putting little breaks in between. Now, as far as install goes, it isn't too bad, but if you're doing it by yourself, I would, like I said, highly recommend getting that easy bracket because you can just clamp that around your frame and you're not having to drill into it. Now, do keep in mind, your components will hang a bit lower, so it might be susceptible to some of that road debris if you're going over some gravel roads. Drilling these holes, you definitely wanna pick up a new fresh set of drill bits, maybe a smaller one and a bigger one to open these holes up. And I've actually snapped a smaller drill bit in one of these holes. It's just kind of the nature of this 'cause these frames are really tough to get through. So if you're not wanting to have to use a punch and get
