Rajasthan: 611 Government Schools Have No Buildings, Govt Admits in Assembly | School Infra Crisis

Описание: Rajasthan's government school infrastructure has come under scrutiny after the state government admitted in the Assembly that 611 government schools are functioning without their own buildings.

The figures were shared in response to a question raised by Leader of the Opposition Tika Ram Jully, amid the Cockroach Janata Party's School Thik Karo inspection campaign across the state.

According to government data, 611 government schools do not have their own buildings, including 10 girls' schools.

The infrastructure gaps extend beyond school buildings. Of the 64,484 government schools with their own buildings, 2,047 do not have toilets, while 1,049 lack drinking-water facilities.
