If you are looking for a refreshing new way to cool off this summer, head to Dri Dri, the Italian gelateria at THE BEACH opposite JBR that offers young children the chance to make authentic Italian gelato using the finest ingredients.
Led by a Dri Dri representative, the two-hour tailor-made workshops will give kids the chance to learn more about one of Italy’s most famous frozen desserts while acquiring a new skill.
Signing up for the workshop will entitle each young participant to an apron, as well as the opportunity to design their own container label. As part of the activities, kids will learn about Dri Dri’s secret ingredients, chop fruits, mix ingredients, and prepare and scoop gelato while using original Italian gelato equipment from the 1960’s. Youngsters will also be given a chance to sample a range of over 18 flavours.
Upon completion, participants will be awarded a certificate of ‘gelatiere’ achievement and can bring home a half-litre container with the gelato that they created - to enjoy with family and friends.
