Описание: Often times, child custody cases are the most draining of cases, and sometimes the most rewarding. These cases are very difficult in the way that we need quite a bit of time for surveillance to help you document your case, demonstrate that the other party is doing what they are claiming. Typically, there are three kinds of investigations when it comes to Child Custody. First, you have those that are lying; for example, the amount of time they need with their children. So they're trying to tell the court they need 70% custody, the ex only needs 30. And sadly, you know what they’re doing is posturing for their income. They want more money out of the ex, and at the same time they're not really doing anything different. Often times, you'll find that the person who is arguing for more custody is sometimes just hiring a babysitter, and/or they just want to “win” over the ex. So, Paramount gets hired a lot to demonstrate that within the courts. What we do is perform surveillance. We get the individual coming & going to work and document what the child is up to. Weather they’re at the mall or out playing, we make sure to see everything. From there, we put that together in a videotapre report, and send that to your attorney.

Second, the other cases for child custody investigation which we are hired for are somewhat complicated. If you suspect there is abuse, or you suspect drug usage at the house, these are extremely difficult to prove. They’re costly in the way that we need to do quite a bit of surveillance. Often times, these people aren’t going to lash out,act up or abuse your child in public. That is why Paramount is extremely discreet. When it comes to drugs, usually people are discrete. They know they are illegal, and they know they can get arrested for these things. Typically, they’ll hide out and do the drugs inside the house, or in the car, where it is very difficult for us to get the angle of the usage of the drugs. So you can see it tends to get costly, but it is worth it if you are in need.

In any case, when we do get these cases, we set up surveillance. We then watch the individual suspected of the abuse especially when they’re with their children. And we do our best to document all activities, good or bad. So if these incidents do occur again, Paramount will make note of that, and put it together for you in a report. A couple of pictures, or videotape, given to you and your attorney.

When it comes to drug usage, if we are able to get that on videotape but yet you still suspect something, we do what is known in our industry as a “trash run.” We figure out what day of the week that the person would get their trash taken out. Then, we collect the trash. From there, we go through the trash and we do our best to document what we see. Whether its checks, or drug paraphernalia (needles, prescription drugs which may or may not be in their names, medical marijuana (though that is not illegal in the state of California, it could be helpful for your case,) other drug paraphernalia, including tarnished aluminum foil pieces, or spoons (heroin pipe or cooking meth). And again, we collect that information, document the best we can, and turn it over to you and your attorney. So those are a couple of different ways that the child custody cases are investigated.

A third case can be where there was a restraining order that’s been issued. For example, you know for a fact that a cousin isn’t allowed around a child because the cousin is aggressive and they’ve fought in the past. Whatever the restraining order says, we go out and investigate that the cousin is, in fact, with the child. And that could be helpful for your case as well.
