I got this as my son's birthday gift and now I had the chance to test it myself. You have to return it afterwards, he told me. So here we go. Pretty easy to navigate the basic parameters and play around with the settings, but the hard part is moving the right knob without touching the other knob right beside it. And to do small changes to the sound, since you easily make too big adjustments.

Using the Roland D-20 as a controller and running arpeggios from the JU-06A all run through my laptop, since the JT-4000 has no 5-pin MIDI, only MIDI over USB. Effects added occasionally, delay and reverb from a Zoom pedal, chorus from the built-in fx section of a Alesis mixer.
