In this series of videos we make a Z80 computer in the style of an Altair 8800 for people/budgies who can't afford £4k+ for a box with a few LEDs in it.
In this video we add some RAM to the computer and make the deposit module on a couple of breadboards and run a tiny test program.

If you want to build along at home you'll need:
2 breadboards
1 62256 SRAM (mine is a HM62256BLP-7)
1 74HC245
1 74HC32
1 74HC08 (used in the run function)
1 74HC123
1 8 way DIP switch
1 push button
10 1k ohm resistor
2 22k ohm resistor
1 1nF capacitor
1 10nF capacitor
8 LED
a selection of breadboard wire
