Описание: A Harrison County resident was saved by his smoke alarm going off as he slept and his cottage apartment filled with smoke from a fire in the front part of the home. The man woke when the alarm sounded and attempted to go out a front door, but his path was blocked by fire. He had to find a bedroom window and crawl out the window to safety. He said if the alarm had not gone off, he doesn't think he would be alive today. The cause of the fire is under investigation but was accidental in nature.
