In our opinion, it's incredibly important to know where your training came from. Anyone who says they practice JKD but can't trace their martial heritage is a red flag for authentic instruction. We've compiled a list (though not complete) of first generation instructors to take an honest look at our history. This isn't about who's better or who is right but rather a celebration and observation of practitioners who trained directly with Bruce Lee. What do you see? What's Similar? What's different?
