As a single track it reached #16 on Easy Listening charts and 'bubbled under the Hot 100' (Wikipedia). Wonderful and nostalgic to hear Johnny sing the songs from this time period. At the moment only available on LP - but rare. Hopefully this too will make it to a CD re-issue. Please enjoy! :)

Sadly, today, just learned of the passing of Hal David, described by James H. Billington, the Librarian of Library of Congress, as "an American songwriting treasure". Recently awarded the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, the President said of the genius writing pair, David and Bacharach, : "And with an unmistakable authenticity, they captured the emotions of our daily lives — the good times, the bad times and everything in between," The legacy of this music will continue to live in the hearts of all who embrace it. It's the kind of music that seeps into your soul. Like the wonderful compositions from the 40's, these songs are never far from our musical memory.
