While Republicans refuse to extend the advanced premium tax credits, some families in Nevada now face premiums that are 26% higher than the original projection. These tax credits helped double ACA enrollment and drove record-low uninsured rates, yet they are set to expire at the end of the month. The Congressional Budget Office now projects 1.5 million more people to be uninsured in 2026.
Congressman Horsford made it clear: the real scam is letting health care costs skyrocket while calling affordability a joke. Nevada’s families deserve better.
