This webinar will examine the design and implementation of programs administered by the Center for Sustainable Energy that support markets for electric passenger cars with cash rebates. It will:
provide an update on the increasing diversity of EV product offerings;
compare the design and implementation of statewide EV purchase/lease rebate programs in California, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York;
overview data produced by those programs characterizing participating consumers and their vehicles; and
discuss select program transparency & evaluation findings that provide insight into implementation & improvement.
In so doing, the webinar will provide up-to-date information on markets for electric cars, supportive policies, and sources of data that empower stakeholders to support the transition to sustainable energy.
