Nine months ago, the OG DIY Smartwatch was born—but it was just a "naked" PCB. After hundreds of requests for a wearable version, I finally did it. This is the journey of turning a science project into a professional-grade wearable using SLA 3D printing, 7 design revisions, and a lot of patience.
In this video, we don't just build; we iterate. I take you through the technical refresher of the ESP32-C3 and 1.28" IPS display, and then we dive deep into the mechanical "gauntlet." From bed adhesion failures and light-bleed issues to fitting a massive 300mAh battery into a tiny space, I share the honest reality of hardware engineering.
