What's New: Animgraph 2 Beta Testing
Valve just dropped the Animgraph 2 beta (April 1, 2026), a complete overhaul of CS2's third-person animation system. Here's what I'm checking out live:
Better counter-strafe visibility, you can now read opponent movement
FPS boost and lower CPU/network load (benchmarks show up to 8% gains)
New third-person knife/weapon deploy animations visible to other players
Improved player occlusion, no more models clipping through thin walls
Variable player height (±4 units), grenade lineups may be broken!
To try it yourself: Steam, CS2 Properties, Betas, select "animgraph_2_beta"

Current Status: Wingman Main learning Competitive
I have 575+ hours in CS2 with a huge split in experience:
Wingman: 521+ Wins (Gold 3 Rank) - My home turf.
Premier/Comp: Only 5 Wins (Silver 2-4) - Still learning the big maps!
Goal: Farming weekly XP for drops and learning Overpass/Train positions.
