Описание: For sale is a fully restored Hohner Burl Pre-Pokerwork accordion in standard A/D tuning. This accordion has the sought after steel reeds on zinc reed plates. It is tuned in the Viennese style along the curve (tremolo increasing a small amount as pitch rises) with two voices tuned in an equal M+ and M- offset from each pitch. This makes the perceived pitch (of the listener) sound in tune, as opposed to reeds tuned with an on pitch reed (M) and a tremolo reed tuned sharp (M+), which makes the perceived pitch sound sharp. This instrument has a nice mellow tone and great honking bass sound. The instrument is in great shape cosmetically, with the bumps and bruises expected of an instrument of it’s age.

Some of the modifications:

1. Reeds and reed blocks fully stripped, cleaned and rewaxed
2. All reeds fully revalved and tuned
3. Crossbar added between treble reed blocks to diminish wah wah effect
4. All treble and bass pallets refaced with felt/leather
5. New bellows gasket added and any bellows leaks addressed
6. Bellows retaped
7. Felt placed under treble buttons to reduce the travel of buttons for a faster action
8. Shoulder strap brackets added
