Proud moment for us as PM Modi recognised our work: AIIMS CIMR Incharge

Описание: In the 96th edition of Radio program ‘Mann ki Baat’, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi during his address on December 25 talked about the observations he made in the past. He said that observations from past always give us inspiration to prepare for the present and the future. Also, he mentioned about the evidence-based Indian medical methods and their acceptance reaching world audience.
Incharge of CIMR, AIIMS Delhi, Dr Gautam Sharma while talking to ANI said, “It's a proud moment for us as PM Modi recognised our work (in Mann Ki Baat). 19 departments in AIIMS are collaborating with us to identify areas of need where we feel there is a lacuna in terms of modern medicine and where yoga can be helpful.”
He highlighted the future goals with respect to integrate the modern medicine along with Indian traditional medicine system for better results. He further said, “In future, we plan to provide clinical services to patients. The goal is to have integrative medicine system where best modern medicine and the best of Indian traditional medicine system can be put together and help patients even further.”
