Steve at Buffalo FX has a thing for the best-of-old-school pedals. We've grown to love his fuzzes and now he's offering his take on the Colorsound 18V Power Boost. The original was a pedal used (still, perhaps) by the likes of David Gilmour, Marc Bolan and many other veterans and legends of the Classic Rock genre. It's a booster that can be used to enhance a clean signal or turn a clean signal into a lava spewing beast. I quite like the latter application.

The Buffalo FX version does away with the need for an 18v power supply by using an internal voltage doubler. That means you can run the Power Booster off one battery or standard 9v supply.
