Am I Really Thru Hiking the Arizona Trail in 2022?

Описание: For 2022 I have decided to face my fears and commit to an Arizona Trail thru hike. It has been years since I've done a thru hike longer than a few days to a week in length (2007 appalachian trail thru hike, 2009 attempt at the Vermont Longtrail, and my 2013 thru hike of the John Muir Trail) and I have been itching to do something longer again. The Arizona Trail thru hike provides the perfect opportunity to scratch that itch.

2021 has been a great year for me, with loads of adventures, some pushing me beyond my comfort level, helping me realize I am capable of doing more than I think I can, and teaching me lessons along the way. The Arizona Trail is another one of those "just beyond my comfort level" adventures I've been scared to do. 2021 has shown me that challenging myself with new experiences and rising above my fears is usually worth it and make for the best adventures! So, Arizona Trail thru hike for 2022? Yeah, let's do this!
