In this repair, we had a MacBook with power issue, using a multi meter, we found a short to ground on PP3V42 rail, after taking out the board, we found a corroded spot, and of the components affected is a capacitor on the PP3V42 rail , we replaced it and short was cleared along with others . Then we had no image on the screen and this was due to a faulty inductor, we replaced it and the issue was resolved.
