A lot of these compressors having burning motor problems. This brand is Ingersoll Rand from the Tractor Supply. Only time will tell if this video has the fix or if the US has been delivered thousands of Junk Overseas Motors. The compressor in this video has been reassigned to a different part of the shop where it is only used for powering a vehicle lift, impact wrenches and a tire changer (Light duty). Doesn't get used much at all over there. Im sure if they continued to run the sanders and grinders on it that it would have burnt again but it hasn't to this point.
It's been brought to my attention that A1 connection in the video may actually be A2 on your box. Follow the direction carefully on the starter you receive. For this starter. The connection you're looking for is above and between L1 and L2. A long single yellow wire (pre-installed) travels down to the center on the left. A connection can be made there as well.
