Footage released by the Israeli army and verified by Reuters on Wednesday shows what the military said were Israeli troops deployed in southern Lebanon.
Israel ordered the forced displacement of residents living south of the Litani River, an area amounting to about 8 percent of Lebanese territory.
Since last week, Israeli strikes on Lebanon have killed at least 72 people, wounded 437 others and displaced more than 80,000, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry.
