Great news!! The market is doing exactly what we normally see! We saw a week of decent sales but most importantly, we saw only 5 new listings. So, very low new listings and a whole bunch of properties exited the market. I am hoping I'll be a broken record with that message for the next 6 weeks because we can quickly go from 231 active listings to a much more reasonable range of around 150 in that time period.
If you are a buyer, since the normal end of year trends are present, you have an opportunity right now to buy a property at a really good price. If we follow a normal trend, we will go into 2026 with low inventory and I think because of where interest rates are currently sitting, if we can find ourselves in a low inventory position, it could be the catalyst for a very good year.
