High above Hunza Valley, near Baltit Fort, I ride through one of the most stunning and historically important regions in northern Pakistan.

Hunza lies along the ancient Silk Road routes that once connected South Asia with Central Asia and China. Today, the Karakoram Highway follows this same corridor through the mountains.

For centuries, Hunza was an independent princely state ruled by local Mirs, with Baltit Fort serving as both palace and defensive stronghold overlooking the valley.

Surrounded by towering peaks such as Rakaposhi and Ultar Sar, the valley combines dramatic mountain landscapes with green terraced fields sustained by glacial irrigation systems.

In this video, I explore both the beauty and the deeper history of Hunza, riding through the hills above the valley and taking in one of the most extraordinary landscapes on Earth.
