Getting started in the Abyss is not easy, but doable once you completed the Career Agent Missions and got some experience with the general Mechanics in EVE Online.

When you are new, its best to start with a basic Kestrel and do T0 Abyssals. A Tutorial for it can be found here:    • Cheap T0 and T1 Dark Rocket Kestrel - Eve ...  

After getting some experience and skills, then you can either go for a Worm or a Hawk and do T1. If you are Alpha, you want to take the Worm as it can be used by Alpha clones in the Abyss.

After that, the next step is the Povertila. There are 3 different Povertilas, one for Exotic and Electricals, one for Gamma and one for Firestorm. If you are new or Alpha, I recommend to take the Povertila and do T3 Electricals. Also, alphas cannot use the T2 SBA, use faction or meta 4.

After that, you can go for T6, the optimal Gila is the T6 Gamma Gila. It is easy to use, but requires mutated drones if you go into T6. The Tutorial can be found here:    • EVE Online T6 Gamma Abyssal Passive Shield...  

Alternatively, you can also go the path for missile ships. There are also some options.
After the Kestrel, you can go for the Hawk and do T1 Exotics. After that, you can take a Sacrilege for up to T4 Dark. Tutorial for it is here:    • EVE Online Cheap T4 Dark Abyssal Sacrilege...  

Then after it, you can use a Cerberus for T6 Exotics.
