Welcome to my channel! Here I'm making some hammered copper bar earrings. The shape of the earrings is made by softening (annealing) and hammering a thick copper wire. Filing and sanding is also required to get a smooth surface. To get a nice red coating on the surface the copper must be heated with a torch until red hot and quenched quickly. This patina is also very durable and with additional renaissance wax the earrings are well protected.
