You START, you STRUGGLE... and then you have the opportunity to to SAVE YOURSELF - but all you have to do is keep "sucking" - stay in the shit - and SEE WHAT HAPPENS... You may or may not surprise yourself (depending on how often this happens to you) but you sure will feel satisfied when it FINALLY WORKS - and it will... Eventually.

Like catching a BIG FISH, you just have to show up, stay optimistic and stick to it.

Being an ARTIST and becoming a YOUTUBER are actually very similar in their struggles and in their solutions.

I'm looking back on my first year being a YOUTUBER and reflecting on the similarities between all that comes with that and making the actual artwork each day. I never would have got where I am, both with YOUTUBE & comics, if I didn't keep showing up, keep struggling through the hard times, and showing myself each time, that I can do hard things... I've done them before, and YOU have to.
