I currently live on land that was once home to an ancient city built on wine revenue. Part 1 explores the scene of the port where wine was exported.

So why is it that we know almost nothing about Turkish wine or grape varieties?
Does Türkiye not have native grape varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon or Pinot Noir?
Did the wine industry decline due to Islamic influence after the fall of the Ottoman Empire?
