Suspect Arrested in Fatal Daytime Stabbing

Описание: At approximately 9:38 a.m. on December 11th, 2025, firefighters responded to reports of an explosion in the 800 block of Lewelling Boulevard in Hayward.

Upon arrival, crews located two homes and an outbuilding that had been completely demolished by the blast. A total of six victims were transported to local hospitals with unknown injuries.

Residents in the area reported that the explosion occurred while PG&E crews were conducting work nearby. Surveillance video provided by resident Christian Maldonado captured the moment the explosion occurred, showing the force of the blast as it tore through the structures.

The cause of the explosion remains under investigation. Alameda County Sheriff’s Office and Alameda County Fire Department are handling the investigation.
